MegaPath (News - Alert) Names New SW Channel Leader

Bram Slipakoff has been named MegaPath’s regional channel director. In that role he is responsible for recruiting, enabling, and driving revenue through MegaPath’s partner community in the Southwest region of the United States. He has more than a decade of telecommunications and channel management experience, having previously served as a channel executive at Vonage (News - Alert). He also has held several key leadership roles with Integra Telecom, WiLine Networks, and World Telecom Concepts.

Report: Cybersecurity Opportunity for the Channel

A new report from CompTIA (News - Alert) talks about the opportunity cybersecurity presents for channel partners and managed service providers that can help organizations address this important topic. Seth Robinson, senior director, technology analysis at CompTIA, commented: “Good marketing certainly requires strong products, but for channel partners to successfully build their own brand they must identify and highlight the unique strengths they possess to solve business problems and help customers overcome obstacles to success.”

SI/VAR Uses TelcoBridges Gateways

Smart Network Solutions (News - Alert), a system integrator and value-added reseller, is using TelcoBridges’ Tmedia VoIP gateways in its customers’ contact centers throughout Colombia. Since 2011, Smart has deployed a number of high-performance contact center and service provider solutions that feature TelcoBridges Tmedia VoIP gateways for customers such as Xerox de Colombia, Telebucaramanga, Metrotel and Billateral, all of which are located in Colombia.   

CloudRoute, Clarus Partner 

Clarus Communications and CloudRoute are now partners. The former company is a St.Louis-based telecommunications and technology master agent. The latter is an authorized Microsoft (News - Alert) Cloud Solution Provider. “Our customers are demanding Microsoft cloud-based solutions like Office 365. This partnership gives us the opportunity to map the right business solutions to each of our customer’s needs,” said Chris Torbit, principal of Clarus Communications. “Partnering with CloudRoute allows us to deliver scalable cloud technology solutions and ensure enterprise support and services for our customers and partners.”
