It's very easy to just think about Smart Grid in U.S. terms, especially with so much stimulus funding to accelerate infrastructure modernization. As with IP communications, this trend is global, and utilities everywhere are racing down this path. We may not hear much about what goes on elsewhere, but Smart Grid is very real for utilities of all shapes and sizes.
