ITEXPO 2025, part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW, is finally here. Gathering in the Floridian Ballroom of the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the audience ate lunch before Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), CEO of TMC, came onstage to welcome everyone to this year’s show. He also talked about how it is exciting to see AI throughout various sessions at the show.
Then, with a video intro, Tehrani introduced Eric Vaughan, CEO at IgniteTech, for a keynote presentation.
Vaughan’s topic for the keynote circled around generative AI. His goal was to give the audience information to help leaders get more involved with generative AI.
He said, in reference to leaders and generative AI, “the sooner we get on board with it the better we will be.”
But the thing is, AI is so hard to keep up with. In fact, according to a research report “Generative AI Outlook 2025 - Shaping the Future of Creative Intelligence” published by MarketsandMarkets, the global GenAI will grow from $20.9 billion in 2024 to $32.2 billion by 2025 at a YoY increase of 53.7%.
Sure, we can talk about the value of GenAI within companies, but Vaughan wanted to take a different approach that most companies likely aren’t. So, he talked about to take the people “we” have and help them learn AI.
Vaughan then goes on to talk about IgniteTech.
In short, IgniteTech provides a full suite of enterprise software solutions and services from various enterprise software vendors.
Then, he took the audience through the years of GenAI, from an IgniteTech point of view.
2023 was the wake-up call.
“We then get into heavy AI prompting, like how to write a good prompt,” said Vaughan. “IgniteTech added AI technology across its portfolio with Copilot.
2024 was the year to transform the team at IgniteTech
“We had AI Mondays, can’t do anything except AI,” said Vaughan. “We gave up a fifth of our week every week to use and learn AI.
IgniteTech did see a big number of legacy people not want to adapt AP. So, IgniteTech replaced those jobs with AI Innovation Specialists (those who are will to adapt to and use AI).
“Every organization needs to be this dramatic,” said Vaughan. “They need to believe that something like what IgniteTech did can be the difference. Put in the work with AI and believe it will come along.”
Now, IgniteTech has new AI software aimed at humans. One is MyPersonas by Ignite Tech.
According to IgniteTech’s website, MyPersonas uses advanced GenAI. With it, it creates “digital assistants that are tailored to specific roles within an organization. These MyPersonas ‘clone’ their SME, and are capable of delivering precise and relevant information based on the user's needs.”
One message is clear from Vaughan’s keynote at ITEXPO (News - Alert) 2025: embracing AI is not just about integrating new technology; it’s also about transforming people and organizations to adapt and thrive. The future of AI is now, and those who embrace it will shape what comes next.
