Communications developers are currently enjoying the wealth of tools readily available, and one area of technology taking flight today is WebRTC. Our real time world denotes we should get what we want, when we want it, and real time solutions are capable of doing just that. At the click of a button you can be chatting with a friend, resolving a customer service issue or asking questions about an upcoming e-commerce purchase.
Birch Communications offers its cloud-based private branch exchange, TotalCloud PBX, so enterprises can fulfill their needs for local and long-distance calling within the U.S. Its tiers of service allow for clients to complete calls, front-end incoming calls with an automated attendant, and collaborate on tasks through instant messaging and remote desktop features within the office.
It's a great time to be a part of the RingCentral team. The company has seen massive success lately. A few months ago, it was named as a Leader in Gartner's Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) category of the Magic Quadrant study, and now it's even in charge of all the communications for the Santa Clara school district. When companies like Gartner recognize companies, other organizations pay attention. The same is true for Frost & Sullivan, which is why it's so exciting for RingCentral that it was just named the winner of the 2016 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for Company of the Year.
Berkshire Partners, a Boston-based investment firm, announced this week that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a majority interest in Masergy Communications, Inc.
The need for communications with customers, partners, employees and others will always exist for businesses. How that communications happens may be changing - but the need will never go away.
CooCall is great. Take me for example. When I'm on a trip to other countries, I'm using CooCall. It is very easy to download from the app store, and then all you need to do is input your extension number and password. There are a lot of advantages, like I can check the phone book of our company with CooCall. It also doesn't take away from mobile storage, which is good because you cannot change that. It also displays my company number on caller ID to my customers, which is very helpful. So CooCall is very beneficial for business, and all you need is the IP PBX.
Separating fact from fiction is something we all do on a regular basis. Whether it is filtering out the talking heads of today's media or researching your next waiver wire pick up in fantasy sports, this is more common an occurrence than most realize. The cloud is no different, a much hyped technology that tends to spur critics at every turn, is transforming technology across the spectrum.
