Tablets Push Personal Cloud While Honeycomb Struggle Continues

While Android tablets continue to enter the market dominated by Apple’s (News - Alert) iPad, tablet makers are still struggling with Honeycomb implementation, reports Android Apps site appolicious. Hence, they are not as desirable as iPad.


For instance, the appolicious report cites recently announced HTC (News - Alert) EVO View 4G tablet as a good example. It comes with many good features, such as a 7-inch touch screen, 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor and latest version of HTC Sense, but is powered with an Android 2.3 operating system (Gingerbread). Hence, according to appolicious reporter Kristen Nicole, the HTC EVO View 4G does not go far beyond smartphone capabilities.
