Unified Communication as Key Enabler for Telemedicine
Thursday June 23, 2011 11:00am ET 8:00am PT

The wide adoption and spread of the Internet and related technologies allows us to accomplish things easier than ever before. Telemedicine, in addition to other areas such as e-banking and e-learning, is really on the rise as an application for modern communication technologies, drastically changing quality of life for millions of people throughout the world.

Unified communications - video calling, web collaboration, instant messaging - can bridge the physical boundaries between people, and allow for close and productive interactions in place where face-to-face meetings were required before.

This webinar will discuss how Unified Communications are revolutionizing modern medical services, changing patients and medical staff's experience, improve productivity and save on operating costs.

Developers of telemedicine applications and solutions will learn about new available tools which allow creation of the next generation of Telemedicine solutions at a fraction of a cost and much shorter time to market.

During webinar we will also explain why Quality of Experience (QoE) is a key factor for success in such applications, and how it can be maintained even on the go and when network conditions are not optimal.

We will further discuss cloud services and their appeal for telemedicine service deployments, as well as provide case studies for such deployments.

Who should attend:
The webinar will be especially useful for telemedicine application developers, system integrators and organizations in the telemedicine market. Additionally it will be also beneficial for developers and integrators who wish to better understand the opportunities and technical advances of video calling technologies in relation to telemedicine.
