At this year's ITEXPO East PBX phone system manufacturer Xorcom will be revealing some of the feature rich new products it's developed recently. The company announced today that it will use the expo as a platform to show off new versions of its IP-PBX phones and will also be sponsoring a meeting with partners for its worldwide distribution channel on February 2nd and will be hosting a portion of the Reseller Workshop on February 3rd.

Social media is the most important development in communication from the last decade. The 90's laid the ground work for commercial interaction with the internet and prepared the world to use it on a daily basis. Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter took that willingness and redefined the way that people talk to one another and interact with the world. If the web came to full fruition in the '90s and the '00s were the decade of social media then the 2000-teens are likely to be the decade mobile adoption, and already the combination of smartphones and social networking is changing the face of commerce, communication and computing.

In a recent interview with TMC's CEO, Rich Tehrani, Mark Armentrout, president of Texas Institute and keynote speaker at the Smart Grid Summit, collocated event with ITEXPO East, commented on the significant developments of smart grid in 2010. With consolidation and forward-thinking beyond basic plumbing, 2010 proved to be a good year for smart grid.
