Omniconnect Offers Cloud Communications to Kenyan Businesses
Emerging markets are offering opportunity in a big way to service providers. And, with adoption on a meteoric rise, cloud communications are quickly becoming the preferred means for businesses around the globe.
Telkom Kenya announced the arrival of Omniconnect, a cloud-based voice platform for African firms of all shapes and sizes. The hosted PBX features end-to-end software and hardware from Avaya.
“This solution will free corporates and SMEs to focus on their core businesses, without being bogged down by the cost of acquiring, running and maintaining this system. This is the future of doing business; enabling them to become more efficient in their operations by simplifying their processes and infrastructure,” explained Telkom Enterprise MD., Kris Senanu.
Organizations gain voice services like conference calling as well as mobile phone and email integrations. The subscription service provides a predictable, budget-friendly option for telephony. And, because the solution is cloud-powered, it offers the flexibility to titrate services as needed.
Coming in Silver, Gold and SME packages, the Omniconnect service trio of packages provide the capabilities required for a digital-first business in the cloud era.
“The service guarantees security and in-call stability. It runs on a secure system, deployed on Telkom’s backbone network, to protect it from direct access through the Internet, and confers an extra layer of security,” noted Mr. Senanu.
The cloud is introducing a new day in collaboration, touching all points of the globe and providing a passport to the digital age.
