New Call Center Platform Simplifies Arizona State Parks Reservations
National and state parks are an escape from modern, and often crowded, cities as visitors take in nature at its finest – mountains, forests, rivers, lakes, or beaches.
Of course, when planning for their next outdoor vacation, visitors want a smooth reservation process. This means having a platform in place to enhance visitor experience and improve facility management.
The State of Arizona wanted a way to better accommodate its park system’s more than 3 million visitors annually, and the Arizona State Parks and Trails successfully went live with a new reservation and call center platform by Tyler Technologies.
The cloud-based reservation platform is a seamlessly integrated system that manages all aspects of Arizona State Parks and Trails’ needs. The park system is enabled to replace outdated technology and reduce administrative costs and hassles, boost revenue by allowing customers to pay in a single transaction, maximize park occupancy and save time with technical support available by phone.
“The new system offers enhanced features to make choosing a campsite, cabin or tour easier than ever and will improve the way visitors can enjoy the more than 30 parks in Arizona,” said Bob Broscheid, executive director for Arizona State Parks and Trails.
Recreation Dynamics is engineered on the Amazon Web Services (News - Alert) platform and is used by a host of similar state park systems. The implementation comes with a multitude of new features, including map integration, powered by Esri ArcGIS, to aid website visitors with an interactive and real-time mapping experience for making online reservations.
“We are dedicated to working with Arizona State Parks and Trails to serve its visitors and provide streamlined services for administrators,” said Sascha Ohler, senior vice president of outdoor recreation for Tyler.
With the advanced reservation and call center platform in place, visitors to Arizona state parks will have more time to do what they enjoy: spend more time outside and less time online or on the phone.
