Verint Adds Compliance Recording for Zoom
More companies than ever are making use of the UC services offered by Zoom today. With these modern communications capabilities, businesses are seeing a boost in productivity, increases in employee engagement and improvements in customer experiences. Use of these online tolls was really kicked into high-gear during the COVID-19 pandemic and has continued to see adoption across industries.
As this happens, the need to also meet compliance regulations has increased for those organizations that are highly regulated, like financial services, banking and healthcare companies, among others. Traditional recording solutions don’t always work seamless across digital communication channels, leaving a compliance gap.
To answer to this need, customer engagement solutions company Verint, has announced the release of a new compliance recording integration with Zoom. The new integration will make it possible for businesses that must legally capture, store or analyze communications to do so while using Zoom for video meetings, voice calls and even while screen sharing.
In regulated industries, compliance recording ensures an accurate record of communications is available as needed and keeps these companies legally compliant with various state, federal and international regulations.
“As the world is moving toward hybrid-working, allowing regulated users to communicate beyond traditional voice platforms is a must and increases the competitive advantage for regulated organizations,” said Gary Sorrentino, Deputy CIO, Zoom. "Verint (News - Alert)'s integration with Zoom Phone and Zoom Meetings enables us to help businesses adopt the latest communication technologies while meeting strict regulatory demands.”
The new native integration with Verint’s Compliance Recording offering streamlines processes and boosts ease of use so organizations can centrally capture, retain, analyze, and retrieve communications from any Zoom Phone (News - Alert) or Zoom Meetings scenario.
Verint’s range of compliance capture tools also makes it possible for businesses to gain control of their recording needs all the way down to user or group levels.
“For decades, traditional on-premises PBX (News - Alert) systems were used to support the compliance requirements in regulated markets,” said Verint's John Bourne, senior vice president, global channels and alliances. “Today, UCaaS and cloud-based collaboration solutions are increasingly replacing these traditional systems for this purpose."
