Fintech Solutions Provider Vergent Partners with Bilingual Call Center Company UCC

As a great customer experience is one of the most valuable services a brand can provide, it’s important to remember that it’s not all about providing services in English. The United States has the second-largest population of Spanish speakers in the world. According to Forbes, about 13 million Americans – or 42 million people – count Spanish as their primary language and speak it in their homes.


Financial services companies that wish to market to Spanish speakers need an excellent customer support foundation in Spanish, by fluent Spanish speakers. To this end, omnichannel fintech lending platform Vergent LMS recently announced a partnership with Universal Contact Centers (UCC), a bilingual call center services provider, to jointly integrate and market each other services.

UCC provides nearshore, first-party staffing for a range of services, including customer support and customer experience, quality assurance, collections and social media management for the consumer lending industry. Tijuana, Mexico-based UCC serves both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking customers.

With UCC as the manpower provider, Vergent LMS will provide the technology underpinning the initiative. Vergent LMS allows lenders to manage their loans at every stage of the loan lifecycle. Vergent’s loan management solution relies on configurable state-of-the-art technology so lenders are better able to underwrite, approve, fund and service loans. The 16-year-old company serves lenders in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Central America, and the company’s platform has 20,000 active users.
