ZingTree Receives New Investments to Fuel Development
Online business activity is currently at its height as a result of pandemic conditions. In previous eras, businesses could depend on skilled, well-trained agents to meet the shifting demands of customers. But with high call volumes and limited staff becoming a problem for many contact centers, executives are turning to digital enhancements to keep up with the pace
According to a recent article by TechCrunch, contact center software developer ZingTree recently secured $15 million in new investments after completing its Series A funding round. Founded in 2014, ZingTree’s mission has been to provide contact centers with low-code software to easily create scripts, so agents can follow company procedure and seamlessly complete complex customer requests. With this new injection of funds, ZingTree intends to further enhance its contact center solutions to support businesses in the digitally focused economy.
“Unlike our competitors, business users can build and maintain ZingTree agent scripts without any IT or engineering development resources, and we have ready-built integrations for CRM systems so agents work out of one place” commented CEO Juan Jaysingh in an email with TechCrunch.
ZingTree’s Series A funding round was led by Conductive Ventures, while also receiving additional support from Madrona, Storm Ventures (News - Alert), and Hilarie Koplow-McAdams. In addition to receiving new financial support, ZingTree has also added Carey Lai (Managing Director, Conductive Ventures) and Vikram Verma (News - Alert) (Former CEO,8x8) to its board of directors.
Since 2021, the company reports an impressive spike in revenue, doubling growth compared to the previous year. Only time will tell what 2022 holds. .
