Idaho State Department Implements VoIP/Contact Centers with CherryRoad Technologies
In an effort to provide improved statewide call during he COVID19 pandemic, Idaho’s state department sought the services of IT service provider CherryRoad technologies for new VoIP and contact center solutions.
Utilizing CherryRoad’s GoToConnect software, the company was able to quickly deploy a low-maintenance solution package that will assist the state’s 150+ remote agents. The project also incorporated technology developed by SaaS provider LogMeIn (News - Alert) to offer a flexible, low maintenance unified communication platform to handle the surging demand.

The project was signed under the NASPO ValuePoint (News - Alert)™ Participating Addendum, considered to be the nations most significant public contact cooperative.Idaho’s deployment is consistent with the nation-wide trend of governments and businesses quickly modernizing their communication infrastructures to adapt to the remote workforce. Although COVID restrictions are generally easing up, organizations are preparing for a future that sees remote access as a permanent fixture for years to come.
