MCI Creates More Than 1,000 New At Home Call Center Positions
Marlowe Companies Inc. (MCI) has created more than 1,000 new work from home positions to keep up with demand created by the coronavirus pandemic. The company, which owns Gravis Apps, Mass Markets, OnBrand24, Sydney Call Centre and Valor Intelligent Processing, already employed nearly 4,000 agents in 14 brick and mortar locations as well as a remote agent team of more than 1,000.
The company announced it is looking for remote customer service, help desk, technical support and sales representatives. Agents will handle inbound customer inquiries and also troubleshoot basic technical issues. Representatives will also assist customers who wish to add or remove products and services.
The new positions are both full-time and part-time and are flexible for any type of schedule. Pay ranges from $10.10 to $15.15 per hour depending on experience, role, schedule and level. The company is also offering benefits for full-time workers including paid vacation, variable bonus and contest incentives.
“The growing at-home division and remote training and instruction teams are strategic moves by MCI to accommodate current and future growth,” said Anthony Marlowe, CEO of MCI. “As an organization, MCI grew by a factor of 10 times the last few years via organic and inorganic growth and we are bringing on thousands of new jobs with the entirety of North America as our hiring pool. This is a game changer for our highly diverse client base that sometimes needs very nuanced or niche hiring profiles. Even in the face of a global pandemic, the fundamentals for tech-enabled BPO services are very strong.”
Marlowe added that 2020 has created a unique market as well as major demand for both call center and business services. Headquartered in Iowa City, IA, MCI maintains a variety of customer contact management centers as well as business process outsourcing (BPO) service delivery facilities throughout the country. It also provides IT services including automated contact center solutions (ACCS), business process management (BPM), claims processing, customer experience provider services and more.
