Call Center Scheduling: Telcentris and VoxOx Introduce Short Duration Call Service
Telcentris Inc., a leader in cloud communications and VoxOx (News - Alert) In Business, today unveiled the commercial availability of its short duration call service, geared toward outbound call centers, resellers, and agents that cater to call center traffic and call center scheduling. Being offered through the company's wholesale division, the short call service is a highly competitive offering in a market that lacks solutions for businesses conducting high volume short duration calls.
In many call centers, these calls are balanced with longer duration calls that have high margins. As for outbound call centers, short duration calls are normal with the majority of calls ending in voicemail, disconnected phone numbers or hang-ups. Calls under 30 seconds are typically low margin and are considered unprofitable.
Customers that have their own switches can purchase VoxOx In Business SIP Trunks with the desired number of concurrent calls to get started. There are two options including a flat rate per minute and an NPA (News - Alert)/NXX option, which offers different rates for every rate center to terminate calls. The second option caters primarily to resellers interested in offering this service to their call center clients.
"On average, outbound call center traffic tends to be between six and 30 seconds with many calls not answered at all, which makes it necessary to seek a specialized carrier to take on the high volume of short duration traffic," said Tad Nikolich (News - Alert), vice president of business sales at Telcentris, in a press release. "Our platform, which was built to give away our consumer service VoxOx for free to millions of users, was specifically designed to handle very high call volumes at very low infrastructure cost. This has enabled us to create a short call service as part of our wholesale offerings."
Telcentris (News - Alert) is an innovator in cloud-based unified communications and VoIP solutions for consumer, business and wholesale markets. For consumers, Telcentris delivers VoxOx, a free service that integrates voice, text, chat, fax, social networking and more. For businesses, Telcentris provides VoxOx In Business, which is a complete suite of VoIP business phone solutions that are more cost effective, efficient and easier to manage than traditional phone systems.
The VoxOx In Business team will also be showcasing this solution at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo, March 26-29, at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas (Booth #411).
