Sales Enablement Company Gondola Partners with Zoom for More Productive Sales Meetings

The more cynical among us would probably be of the opinion that the vast majority of work-related meetings are either unnecessary, overly long or non-productive to the point of time-wasting. (Actually, that would probably be most of us.) But since the adage that “time is money” is usually true, unproductive meetings are a problem for everyone, and not just because they spawn boredom and dark humor-based memes. They literally waste money, particularly in a sales environment.


Videoconferencing platform Zoom curated its Essential Apps offering to help overcome these unproductive meetings. The apps engage in tasks that take up human time, such as taking meeting notes, engaging teams with interactive activities, and delivering insights to improve customer conversations.

Now, Zoom has announced a partnership with sales enablement platform company Gondola to further boost the usefulness of Essential Apps. Customers using Gondola experience sales process optimization through the power of Meeting Playbooks, which automatically detect the best playbook for each call, integrate historical information into the meeting notes, and instantly sync with a company's CRM system once a call concludes.

Bundled with Zoom curated Essential Apps, Gondola aims to help improve companies’ customer relationships and turn Zoom meetings more productive with relevant insights. With the announcement, Zoom users will gain access to Gondola premium features and more with Essential Apps included in Zoom One Pro, Business or Business Plus subscriptions.

Gondola allows sales and service professionals to better manage relationships with prospects and customers through one-click integration with CRM systems like Salesforce, Hubspot and SugarCRM (News - Alert). In addition, users can follow up with customers in seconds with collaborative workspaces that include files, meeting recordings, tasks and more. By leveraging in-depth data and insights, sales and service teams can measure and improve processes as businesses and teams continue to grow.
