ConvergeOne Approved by Georgia Technology Authority's GTA Ready Program

State entities often don’t have the manpower to vet technology solutions, which can lead to poor purchases of software that isn’t a good fit for the organization. To iron out the process, many states have created technology partnerships that help public organizations skip the guesswork.


The State of Georgia’s GTA (News - Alert) (Georgia Technology Authority) Ready Program allows customers to purchase IT solutions directly from a pool of GTA-qualified IT providers. These managed service contracts can accelerate technology procurements for most public entities in the state. Customers can choose from a provider’s standard catalog of services or request custom quotes. These services are purchased directly from the providers instead of from GTA, but the state program pre-qualifies the pool of service providers and provides light governance over the contracts.

ConvergeOne, a provider of customer experience solutions, announced this week that GTA has named it a GTA Direct-approved vendor for hosted contact center services. Agencies using GTA Ready solutions negotiate directly with the provider and manage their own relationship. Most often, organizations that avail themselves of the GTA Ready Program include Georgia's public entities such as city and county governments, public universities, boards of education and agencies not part of the Georgia Enterprise Technology Services (GETS) program.
