Bandwidth Unveils Pindrop Integration Partnership

Global cloud communications company Bandwidth announced a new partnership with voice authentication tech provider, Pindrop. Enterprise customers will soon be able to utilize Pindrop’s voice authentication services with a native integration for Bandwidth’s (News - Alert) contact center solution.


With contact centers moving beyond traditional on-premise operations, enterprises are stepping up protective measures to ensure business communications are safe and secure. However, with security breaches rising due to the recent increase in digital work activity, business leaders are turning to more advanced identity confirmation methods to keep employees and customers protected.

"This integration is another significant step forward in our strategy to become the network platform of choice for enterprise cloud contact centers," said John Bell, Bandwidth's Chief Product Officer. "With this partnership, Pindrop's technology can help future-proof against evolving security issues in voice calling, with the added convenience and speed of an out-of-the-box solution with Bandwidth."

Businesses utilizing Bandwidth’s digital, cloud-based CCaaS solution will soon be able to introduce voice authentication capabilities, without the technical complications of on-premise installations. Bandwidth customers will also benefit from other useful Pindrop features, including spoof detection and fraud analysis, allowing contact centers to uncover suspicious activity immediately. Additionally, voice authentication will allow customers to resolve inquiries faster, with employees no longer needing to ask identity-confirming questions.
