AI Search Company Yext Launches on Salesforce AppExchange

As the old saying goes, “All business is local business.” Even during times of increasing globalization, many companies are only as successful as their local listings on search engines. New York City-based Yext sells a digital location management software tool designed to manage a business’s location-related information on a multitude of directory websites throughout the Internet.


Yext audits active business directory listings automatically, updating them and replacing inaccurate information when required. It also identifies listing opportunities, enabling companies to add their information in appropriate places. The Yext platform allows for rapid correction of any issues that may be identified.

Recently, Yext announced it has launched Yext AI Search on Salesforce AppExchange to help companies improve the customer support experience for both agents and customers. The collaboration brings the companies' platforms together, enabling clients to augment their existing Salesforce Service Cloud-powered help sites, agent consoles, and support forms with Support Answers, Yext's advanced AI-powered search solution for customer support. Yext's new integration on AppExchange introduces unique applications of AI search to customer support, enabling businesses to deliver official answers, streamline resolution, and improve customer satisfaction, said the company.

“Collaborating with Salesforce highlights just how important search is to customer support in today's digital-first age," said David Rudnitsky, President and Chief Revenue Officer at Yext, in a statement. "Businesses are constantly inundated with support questions, and the vast majority can be solved more easily and most cost effectively with AI search. Our integrations solve this, marrying a support platform with a search platform to put information at the fingertips of both support agents and customers, so they can self-serve and resolve issues quickly."
