Semafone and Avaya Team Up for Contact Center Payment Security
Contact center payment securities are important for businesses across industries that utilize this channel for processing and accepting financial transactions. To maintain security and compliance and offer next-gen digital capabilities, they need comprehensive solutions.
Semafone and Avaya (News - Alert) have announced they teamed up to offer a solution for this need in the market. As part of their global reseller partnership, they will be providing better communications capabilities with stronger securities for contact center customers.
Per the new reseller agreement between the two brands, Semafone’s DevConnect (News - Alert) certified, secure payment technology will be integrated with Avaya OneCloud enterprise Session Border Controller (SBC).
With more digital transformations happening than ever before and customers demanding multi-experience engagement options the move to protect payment data is an important one.
Benefits include improved customer loyalty as well as an opportunity to build trust in digital commerce options while also strengthening PCI (News - Alert) DSS compliance & privacy capabilities for contact centers.
This new partnership makes it possible for contact centers to have Cardprotect Voice+ across all Avaya OneCloud contact center solutions so agents can take PCI DSS compliant telephone payment transactions from wherever they are working - in the cloud, via hybrid cloud or on-premises.
On the consumer side, there are many people now using online channels to shop than ever before and social distancing and COVID-19 shutdowns have quickly transformed how consumers communicate, shop and pay for items.
Company officials said they plan to continue expanding this partnership with the integration of an omnichannel payment solution Cardprotect Relay+ from Semafone. Added to Avaya OneCloud CPaaS it further drives privacy and PCI DSS compliance.
“Data privacy and compliance are today’s common challenges across every touch point of the customer journey, and Avaya puts security front and center in our Avaya OneCloud platform of solutions,” said Eric Rossman (News - Alert), Avaya VP, Technology Partners and Alliances.
