Unitas Global Buys AOS Cloud

Enterprise cloud solution provider Unitas Global has purchased AOS Cloud for an undisclosed sum. The acquire with give Unitas a broader channel in the U.S. and client base as well as significant engineering resources and technology to expand and strengthen its solutions and strategy globally. Already Unitas has seen 118 percent CAGR over the past 24 months.

Sandler Partners Purchases X4 Solutions

Cloud and connectivity services distributor Sandler Partners is acquiring Midwest master agency X4 Solutions. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the larger company created by the deal expects to generate about $65 million in revenue this year and now serves more than 4,000 sales partners in the West, Northwest, Southwest and Midwest. X4 President Curt Allen becomes president of channel for Sandler Partners.

New Cox (News - Alert) Program Welcomes Sandler

Cox has rolled out its master agency program across its territories. Sandler Partners is one of its first partners, which the company says makes it the only master agency with direct agreements with all of the big four cablecos.

 “We’ve been working regionally with Cox Business (News - Alert) for many years,” said Alan Sandler, founder and managing partner for Sandler Partners. “We’re excited to be integral to the launch of Cox Business’  broader program. Many of our agent partners encounter interest in the Cox Business brand in the field, and this expanded relationship will make it even easier for them to facilitate Cox Business services, especially for multilocation customers.”

Offer Automates Catalog Banner Ads

Convey Services now offers a new premium program for vendors that subscribe to the Convey for Channel platform. It automatically adds catalog banner advertising to master agent site home pages and measures viewer engagement. Convey is a cloud-based solution that hosts and delivers content, training, promotions, spiffs, and events to engage the sales partners of master agents, improve communication, and create calls to action that lead to increased deal flow and sales. The company serves 40 top master agent sites, and has 10,000 subscribed site members and an estimated audience of 16,000 commissioned agents.

CompTIA (News - Alert) Does the Math on IoT

Nearly a quarter of channel firms surveyed recently by CompTIA say they are making money from IoT today. That’s up from last year, when 8 percent said they were earning IoT revenue. In the year ahead, 33 percent of companies expect to make money from IoT, according to CompTIA. Consulting is currently the most popular IoT channel offering, the association says, with 40 percent of companies delivering services in this arena.
