Belgian contact center software company Nixxis has a new distribution partnership with the Autom8 Group, which provides customized, end-to-end contact center solutions to companies of all sizes and industries. Autom8 Group has added the Nixxis solution to its product portfolio and will act as national distributor of Nixxis Contact Suite.

Study Explores Impact of Rapid Office 365 Updates

Partners are witnessing Office 365 technology updates, refreshes, and changes that are outpacing their customers’ ability to keep up with them, according to a new report from harmon.ie. “As Microsoft (News - Alert) continues to innovate in the cloud, its rapid release of new capabilities is overwhelming its customers who are struggling to make sense of them,” said Yaacov Cohen, CEO of harmon.ie. “This creates opportunities for Microsoft partners to offer consulting services and innovative products that hide complexity and simplify the evolving Office 365 user experience.” Sixty-seven percent of the channel representatives surveyed said customers place greater value on user access to the latest application versions than on cost (at 56 percent) as a primary reason for adopting Office 365.

Container Platform Company Joins Hortonworks Program

Robin Systems has joined the Hortonworks ISV/IHV Partner Program and received Hortonworks’ Certification for the Robin Containerization Platform. This enables HDP users to maximize their hardware utilization, improve application performance, and simplify applications lifecycle management. “Robin Containerization Platform simplifies developers’ lives by easing full-stack application deployment and lifecycle management,”

Telin to Deliver 3CX Hosted Solutions

A company named Telin that provides internet telephony services to the medical and SMB markets is adding the 3CX unified communications solution to its Cloud Distribution platform. “Telin Systems is very enthusiastic about becoming a North American hosted distributor for 3CX.  It provides us with the tools to bring a service to the channel, we think partners will be very excited about. BETSOL to Embed Lionbridge Technology

Real-time translation company Lionbridge has a new partnership with BETSOL, which is embedding its GeoFluent solution into the BETSOL call center stack. "By eliminating the need to hire multilingual agents, GeoFluent enables BETSOL customers to focus on providing exceptional levels of service. This, coupled with GeoFluent's translation quality and communications channel support, delivers significant value to our contact center customers," said Ashok Reddy, vice president of business development at BETSOL.
