The glue holding together enterprises around the globe during the coronavirus pandemic is communications. The cloud is enabling business as usual in some pretty strange times, and as such is experiencing a spike in adoption while WFH is the new normal.

Avaya announced an agreement with Telarus Canada enabling the Master Agent to offer the Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral UCaaS solution via its network of partners across the Great North.

“We feel privileged to be included in the launch of Avaya Cloud Office in Canada,” said Brian Ochab, Toronto native and Regional Vice President of Canada for Telarus. “We have invested heavily in the Canadian market so that we can enable trusted advisors and MSPs here with solutions that are brokered rather than rebilled. By layering our resources, tools, engineering, and marketing knowledge of UCaaS, we’re confident we’ll be able to help our partners here develop a solid business selling and recommending Avaya Cloud Office to their clientele.”

With the Avaya Cloud Office by RingCentral UCaaS solution, Canadian businesses gain voice, video, chat, file and desktop sharing as well as task management in a single platform.

The Avaya news comes on the heels of a new partnership with SYNNEX in Canada, signaling a clear push toward a market ripe for robust cloud communications.

Are your communications in the cloud, yet?
