RingCentral Partners w Healthcare ISVs to Transform Point of Care
Improving patient experience is a primary goal for every healthcare provider across the country. Today, with digital solutions taking the lead and greater demands for better patient communications, there is also a need for enhanced technologies that support interaction and engagement.
To further support patient and care teams, RingCentral (News - Alert), a provider of global enterprise cloud communications, video meetings, collaboration, and contact center solutions, recently announced it partnered with three independent software vendors in the healthcare space (Ascom (News - Alert), ChronicCareIQ, and ELLKAY) to bring new offerings to providers that will transform point of care.
The new partnerships expand on the offerings RingCentral already delivers to healthcare providers including an integrated, secure, and reliable cloud communication platform.
Specifically, the partnerships will bring new capabilities to RingCentral MVP (Message Video Phone (News - Alert)) and RingCentral Contact Center - which both play an important role in connecting patients with healthcare providers.
“Easy access to patient communications is critical in simplifying how we connect patients with their care teams to improve point of care workflows, as well as patient engagement,” said John Poli, industry principal, Healthcare at RingCentral.
Thanks to the partnership with Ascom, a provider of healthcare ICT and mobile workflow solutions, RingCentral MVP can now be incorporated into a provider’s solution - such as a medical device, EMR or nurse call system. Users also gain access to message, video and phone capabilities using Ascome’s ruggedized mobile VoIP devices.
For those providers managing patients with chronic healthcare conditions, the new partnership with ChronicCareIQ (CCIQ), means RingCentral MVP can easily be integrated into its platform and allows for one-click outbound calls or automatic tracking and documenting of phone time with patients and caregivers. These tools increase reimbursement and ease management of these patient programs.
RingCentral Contact Center will also see a boost in capabilities as the partnership with ELLKAY provides incoming call-generated screen pops so users can quickly access disparate patient data from external Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) - all in a single-view. They can also customize the data that is presented to reps on the phone to boost single call resolution while also increasing patient satisfaction.
“Our solutions including RingCentral MVP and RingCentral Contact Center play a pivotal role in enabling healthcare providers to quickly connect, communicate, and collaborate internally and with patients. By partnering with leading healthcare solution providers, we are able to leverage the platform’s capabilities, expand our reach and inch closer to our goal of bringing the very best communications solutions to a wide range of healthcare professionals across the country, ultimately resulting in better patient outcomes,” said Poli.
