ZoomShift Unveils Latest Employee Scheduling Software
ZoomShift, a Milwaukee based provider of employee scheduling software, has released the latest version of its software designed to help small businesses solve the challenges associated with employee scheduling.
The new ZoomShift helps companies simplify scheduling process so that they can spend their valuable time for more productive activities. It features a timeline, taken directly out of Facebook's (News - Alert) playbook, which ties all events together.
Jon Hainstock, co-founder of ZoomShift, says, "The timeline gives managers and employees the big picture of what's going on. Shift trades, availability changes, and schedules are all time-stamped and mapped to events. All of these events sync with email and text message notifications that can be managed by each user.”
The redesigned scheduler allows managers to schedule employees in two unique ways. First, managers can add people to different shift blocks. Based on employee availability ZoomShift limits the list of employees that a manager can add to a shift block. In the second method, managers can schedule by employee. Adding shift blocks to users for each day of the week helps managers make sure they are allocating the right amount of hours and shifts to the right employees. ZoomShift calculates shift and cost totals in both schedulers instantly, helping managers forecast each week.
ZoomShift scheduling software is optimized for mobile use, with a completely responsive Web design, so users can access their schedule, offer shifts, and manage availability anytime from their computer, tablet or mobile phone.
Though workforce scheduling is an important part of workforce management (WFM) within the call center, most users are not aware of its advantages like reducing costs and significantly improving workflow.
Monet, a provider of advanced call center scheduling software recently highlighted some of the factors that contribute for the success of a call center. They include flexible shift model, tracking of schedule adherence, cross-train multi-skilled agents, ranking of agents, and more.
