By Anamika Singh, Call Center Scheduling Contributor

According to the webcast, “Utilizing a Six Sigma Approach to Reduce Unwanted Turnover”, Volt Workforce Solutions, the staffing business unit of Volt Information Sciences, Inc., will share expertise improving call center recruiting and retention.

Volt delivers integrated workforce consulting, technology management consulting, and database services that will improve company's performance, Human Capital Solutions; Data Management; IT Infrastructure & Support; Telecommunications; Outsourced Project Solutions; Customer Care Resources; and Directory Printing.

Hosted by HR.com, social community for human resource professionals, Volt’s session will offer insights to how Six Sigma tools and methodologies can improve screening and quality of hire, and reduce unwanted turnover and costs.

Brad Zylstra, Vice President of Strategic Business Services and Support for Volt and a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt, will introduce webcast attendees to the basic elements of the Six Sigma methodology and how to design and implement a candidate screening process.

“With annual employee turnover, which can approach 30 percent or higher, a call center environment can experience unique challenges and cost burdens,” stated Zylstra.

“By presenting real-world results achieved with a call center client, our aim is to provide recruiting professionals and hiring managers with step-by-step screening approaches and consistent processes that they can take back to their organizations,” Zylstra added.

HR.com virtual events offer education, training and certification credits to industry professionals to improve their career, obtaining domain expertise, hands-on experience and knowledge to make improvements in their workplaces.
