iQor Continues Domestic Contact Center Expansion, Opens New Facility in Allentown, PA
Provider of managed customer engagement and technology-enabled BPO solutions, iQor has been investing resources to expand domestic contact center infrastructure in a move to improve customer experiences businesses provide and to deliver a more positive experience for employees and communities.
Its latest announcement is the opening of a new state-of-the-art facility in Allentown,Pennsylvania, which includes a contact center and 30,000 square feet of Class A office space.
Celebrating the grand opening of the new contact center, President and CEO Gary Praznik said, “iQor (News - Alert) makes ongoing investments in our employees and facilities to provide the best employee and customer experiences in the industry. With our new contact center in Allentown, we look forward to expanding our impact in the local community and continuing to hire from a skilled group of candidates to provide meaningful customer experiences to top brands seeking domestic customer experience offerings.”
The new facility, which will replace iQor’s contact center in Bethlehem, PA, is located just 15 minutes away, but with greater access to qualified candidates. It has access to major highways, is close to the airport and also has 11 colleges and universities in the area. It was also built with the dynamic shift in work that’s happening today as hybrid models that mix in-office and work from home models become the norm.
The company selected an office space that would support employees who are working at the office or at home. It features a digital technology infrastructure, panoramic windows, ergonomic furniture, a café, a fitness center, and is an overall better commute for most employees.
Contact center teams provide support for clients in healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, transportation, and utilities offering general customer care, tech support, chargebacks and accounts receivable management.
Earlier this year, iQor announced it was also opening its third call center in the Caribbean to continue its nearshore contact center footprint in Trinidad. The newest center, opening in Chaguanas, is a multi-level, 40,000-square-foot facility that features 600 seats and employee-friendly amenities.
“iQor Trinidad and Tobago invests heavily to attract, retain, and develop its employees to be the best in the industry. With this expansion, we look forward to joining the local community in Chaguanas and hiring from a large pool of skilled Trinidadians to provide meaningful customer experiences to the world’s top brands,” said Praznik.
