GoResponse Recognized with Three Awards at the Contact Center World Awards
GoResponse, the Kent-based telephone answering service provider, announced it has won several accolades in call center management space which includes the latest three awards at the prestigious 2012 Contact Center World Awards (EMEA).
In the first award at Contact Center World, GoResponse was named Best Small Contact Center. In the second, GoResponse’s Managing Director Mark Kirby was named the Best Executive. The company also secured a bronze medal for Contact Center Design.
Commenting on this feat, Kirby said, “I’m incredibly proud of everyone in the GoResponse team for the hard work and dedication that they have shown over the last year, and am delighted that this commitment has been rewarded at the 2012 Contact Center World Awards.”
“We’ve always tried to emphasize the fact that GoResponse is more than just your average call center, and these awards highlight that this has been recognized in our industry as well,” Kirby added.
Contact Center World Awards are considered the call center version of the Oscars, with companies from countries across the globe competing to be recognized.
The recognition for GoResponse meant a lot for the company in the call center management arena because the 130-seat company was up against businesses that had designed call centers to host 5,000+ seats. The awards were selected after presenting to a 130-strong audience of industry experts.
The competition was fierce in the Best Small Contact Center category. The company hard fought against competitors like Carlsberg, Sony and Vodafone (News - Alert). “Hopefully winning these awards will show that we bring something new to the table in terms of outsourced call center services, and will highlight that we offer a much higher standard of care to our customers,” according to company officials.
The Best Small Contact Center award also bears more significance as it is voted for by GoResponse’s peers. This, according to GoResponse, highlights that those working in the industry now recognize the Sittingbourne outsourced call center as the gold standard in the marketplace.Commenting on the award procured by Kirby, Glen Blow, marketing and technology director at GoResponse said, “Not only has his vision for the company been an overwhelming success, but his interactions with the staff and focus on employee development have been responsible for giving us an employee retention rate much higher than the industry average, at nearly three years.”
Mark started the business in 2003 with just four members of staff and over the last nine years we have grown exponentially. The company now has over a hundred employees. Mark’s leadership has definitely been one of the key factors in driving the business forward. In a similar announcement recently VPI said that Ventana Research, a benchmark research and advisory services firm, has ranked the firm as a top software vendor in the 2012 Value Index for Agent Performance Management. In addition to achieving the 'Hot Vendor' rating, VPI earned the highest ranking of any vendor in Product Manageability.
