Change is one of the few constants of the digital age. The fast paced cloud communications landscape is offering disruption across the board, from innovation and development to mergers and acquisitions, change is everywhere.

Today, Vonage announced Vonage Applications Group President and former CEO of NewVoiceMedia Dennis Fois will be leaving the cloud communications firm to take on the role of CEO at a private technology company.

Vonage CEO Alan Masarek explained, “Dennis has been a great partner and helped lead a smooth integration of NewVoiceMedia into Vonage, including the creation of the Applications Group and its go-to-market strategy. We are grateful for the work he’s done to help position Vonage for continued success.”

Vonage’s search is underway for a new Vonage Applications Group President with little time to waste. Fois intends to step down April 30th and until a successor is selected, Vonage CEO Alan Masarek will take on the additional duties.

“While I have decided to leave Vonage to pursue my passion to be a CEO, I am confident that Vonage’s talented team is well positioned to execute on its strategy for 2019 and beyond. I believe that Vonage is among the best in the rapidly evolving cloud communications industry,” Dennis Fois, Vonage’s Applications Group President and former CEO of NewVoiceMedia noted.

Vonage has wasted little time integrating NewVoiceMedia into its teams, and recently released the CX Cloud Express – a mash-up of NewVoiceMedia’s contact center solution and the Vonage Business Cloud.
