Rob Watts is a software architect in Intels Gateway for the Internet of Things Engineering group. Since joining the IoT Gateway group in March of 2014, he has contributed to gateway ODM qualification and a number of critical demos in Smart Home and Building, Transportation, and Energy verticals, in addition to providing IoT solutions support to Intels industry partners. Before joining IoTG he worked with Intels business client group on IoT-related projects like room occupancy and indoor LBS.His career before Intel involved enterprise and public wireless, IT consulting, application development for web and mobile, semiconductor manufacturing and metrology, and high power microwave research at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Rob¹s career as a tech generalist is founded in a Masters of Engineering in Applied Physics from Cornell University.
