Humbug Telecom Labs Now Fully Compatible with Over 220 Virtual PBX Models

Humbug Telecom Labs, a provider of carrier-class fraud prevention, detection and telecom analytics for all the different business sizes has just revealed its system is now fully compatible with more than 220 virtual PBXs from over 66 vendors.

As attempted telecom hacking continue to increase, virtual PBX systems that are left unprotected can become easy targets, said Art Gerasimov, CEO at AGG Software in a press release.

“The AGG Software plug-in provides a remarkably easy and effective way to add our fraud protection for more than 90 percent of the virtual PBX users worldwide, said Yaniv Rofe, CEO at Humbug Telecom Labs.

AGG Software has teamed up with Humbug to create a virtual PBX plug-in which will enable companies to seamlessly connect their existing virtual PBXs to the analytic and fraud tools provided by Humbug Labs.

Rofe added that now even small businesses can utilize carrier-grade fraud protection and free telecom analytics, so these organizations can now focus their time and energy on their business and not worry about losing tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars to telecom fraud.

Some of the vendors that are now protected include: COM, Asterisk, Avaya, Alcatel, Allworx, Altigen, Ericsson, Fujitsu, Siemens, Vodavi, Welltech, Wypoint, and more.

Moreover, any virtual PBX that is not currently supported by the platform can use the Humbug API, which enables users to connect any application/softswitch or virtual PBX to the Humbug service for in-depth reporting and alerting. For analysis, the API sends CDR data and various PBX events. Company officials said that end-users can proactively configure alerts, and add or remove API keys according to their individual needs.
