LIVE WEBINAR
VoLTE Operations in Practice – How to deal with call drops and bad voice quality

Tuesday, December 3, 2019
2:00pm ET | 11:00am PT

Voice over LTE (VoLTE) promised simpler, more cost-effective networks and excellent user experience. In reality, the user experience is too often disappointing, because the known issues of voice over IP in fixed networks – jitter, packet loss, one-way voice, etc. – now add to call drops and other issues typical of radio networks. Simply using an HD audio codec is not enough to ensure high service quality.

The webinar will discuss some pitfalls of operating and troubleshooting VoLTE services and the resulting requirements on monitoring tools.

What Attendees will learn:

  • How to identify problematic eNBs and how to prioritize analysis
  • How bearer events impact the speech quality
  • How user behavior helps call drop analysis
  • Why even EVS and AMR codecs can lead to bad user experience

Who should attend:

  • Telecom Engineers
  • Service and network operations staff
  • Decision makers with technical background assessing state-of-the-art tools
