Webinar - Is It Time to Ditch Premises-based Legacy Call Center Equipment?

Have you moved your call center to the cloud yet? If you haven’t, there’s probably a reason for it: you have expensive legacy equipment that you can’t justify ditching or you perceive that security isn’t robust enough or the feature set is sub-standard. Perhaps you think you have no need for it, since you have a single call center in one physical location.

If you think about it, however, none of these are particularly good reasons to keep premises-based contact center equipment. And chances are, all this legacy equipment is costing you more than you think.

Premises-based equipment comes with expenses that go far beyond simply the purchase price and the implementation. There are ongoing support costs and licenses, maintenance agreements and the need to employ IT personnel to maintain, support and troubleshoot the equipment and software. There are even hidden costs: running a lot of premises-based servers costs in both floor space and cooling.

And if you do have a need to distribute your operations across multiple offices or locations or make applications available to mobile employees, you’ve probably already experienced the headache that entails.

Many call centers that have moved to the cloud have discovered not only cost savings (and fewer headaches), but a wide variety of additional benefits including easier integration, fuss-free updates, better reporting, the ability to move to home-based agents or distributed contact center models, remote administration and support for mobile employees.

On Tuesday, December 11th at 2:00 p.m. EST, Fred Côté, president of hosted call center and predictive dialer solutions provider Kunnect will present a Web event that will examine the true cost of ownership of premises-based solutions. During the event, Côté will discuss the true costs of ongoing support, maintenance agreements, and software obsolescence.

Moreover, attendees will learn how hosted solutions are easily provisioned and maintained, providing an appealing alternative to the inflexibility of premises-based solutions while allowing enterprises to take advantage of cutting-edge technologies without maximum investment.
