CTI Group Unveils SmartInteraction Suite for Virtual PBXs

CTI Group, a developer of telecommunications solutions for fixed, mobile and converged communications, has just launched its SmartInteraction Suite that interfaces with Mitel IP PBXs and delivers virtual PBX capabilities.

The company is known for providing electronic invoice processing and management, enterprise communications management software and services solutions, as well as carrier class voice over internet protocol (VoIP) management applications.

The SmartInteraction Suite is the first fully integrated call recording and audio mining solution built for the Mitel platform. The solution is complete with fully integrated speech analytics technology that can be deployed in either a hosted or premise-based environment.

Another aspect of the SmartInteraction Suite is that it is integrated with Proteus 7.1, the newest version of CTI’s call accounting suite so that users can have a single dashboard while also having the ability to watch video.

The solution interfaces with Mitel IP PBXs using the Secure Recording Connector (SRC) which powers a number of benefits such as the ability to be a software-only recording solution as there is no physical connection to the PBX or to a virtual machine through VMware.

“Our Mitel integration for the SmartInteraction Suite uniquely positions us to provide a best in class call recording solution on the Mitel platform,” said Trevor Davis, head of product, CTI Group in a statement. “Our SmartListen speech analytics engine is fully compatible with Mitel SRC recording, which provides real-time analysis of the call conversation."

In another recent industry development, virtual-pbx reported that the Nextiva Connect virtual PBX system can help a small organization transition an unconnected suite of phone numbers into a highly professional business phone system that includes call routing, virtual mailboxes and an automated dial-by-name directory.

Among the key benefits of this system include a dramatic slash to costs, improved productivity and and seamless integration with an existing network infrastructure, helping any type of business to keep its competitive edge in an increasingly expanding field.
