It wasn’t COVID-19 that gave cloud communications flight clearance, but the global pandemic is taking the market to new heights. Adoption is on the rise, so is investment. The new normal is cloud-powered, with remote capability.

Aircall SE, announced a new $65 Million round of funding. Led by DTCP, and including participation from NextWorld, Balderton Capital, Swisscom Ventures, eFounders, Adams Street and Draper Esprit, the Series C round brings the cloud-based call center software providers total above $100 million.

As business seek to move beyond legacy  solutions to embrace the digital age, this easily deployable solution integrates seamlessly with Zoho, Zendesk and Salesforce, multichannel communications and ensures geography doesn’t hinder customer relationships.

As a way to more rapidly address customers, when support or sales calls come in, the Aircall software routing capabilities can be customized to ring agents in a particular order or all at once, for instance.

“Since COVID-19, Aircall has helped thousands of new and existing customers quickly transition teams to a fully remote workforce.” said Olivier Pailhès (pictured), co-founder and chief executive officer of Aircall. “We’ve seen an increase in companies critical to public well-being throughout COVID-19, including essential services, nonprofit organizations, government agencies and educational institutes.”

The call center is an arena that can ill afford operational disruption. Cloud contact center solutions serve to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Are your communications in the cloud, yet?
