Recently, it was revealed that the Ingate SIParator Enterprise Session Border Controller (E-SBC) has completed successful interoperability testing with Positron's G-Series IP-PBX solutions. This will enable the business VoIP space to be enhanced greatly.

The SIParator E-SBC allows for the secure, simplified adoption of SIP, SIP trunking and all other vial unified communication applications.

Within SIP trunk installations, the Ingate SIParator combined with the SIP Trunk software module resolves interoperability issues to ensure seamless deployments with virtually all service providers' SIP trunk offerings and the Positron IP-PBX.

"As our focus on mid-size business grows, we recognize the role that a session border controller plays in exerting control over signalling and media streams and the security requirements in today's IP network," said Jeff Liberman, VP of sales and business development for Positron Telecom, in a statement.

He added, "When positioning our G-series as a cost-effective product line, we looked to pair our product with a peer element integral to the voice-over-IP service. The Ingate SIParator provides a comprehensive IP and SIP security system that is feature-rich and suitably priced for our customers.”

Positron Telecommunication Systems develops and markets sophisticated, high reliability business VoIP equipment for SMBs and enterprise communication. Positron's customers can use any SIP trunking service provider when deploying the Ingate SIParator with the G-Series IP-PBX, giving them the flexibility to select the lowest cost service at any time.

"Interoperability testing is a crucial part of this industry, as not all vendors adhere to the SIP standard as strictly as Ingate," added Steven Johnson, president, Ingate Systems.

Ingate Systems develops firewall technology to enable global SIP-based person-to-person communication such as IP telephony, presence, instant messaging, video conferencing, IP-PBX connections and unified communications.
