InsightSPI, a specialist provider of business analytics and business intelligence solutions, has launched Insight for Oracle (News - Alert) EBS, a configurable packaged solution for Oracle ERP users.
Officials with InsightSPI said that packaged business analytics solution for Oracle ERP delivers comprehensive self-service reporting and analytics, implemented faster and more efficiently than Oracle's BI applications, with higher user adoption rates and less implementation risk.
Stein said that for Oracle ERP users, it delivers packaged self-service analytics with several important advantages over incumbent solutions in this space — dramatically shorter implementation cycles, an incremental agile delivery framework that does not force users to declare their requirements months or years before they can actually see the solutions, and much higher user adoption rates because the solution leverages common desktop/web tools, instead of specialized stand-alone applications that only a few highly trained users can understand.
With a single entry point for dynamic reporting, the solution accelerates the heavy lifting associated with data integration from EBS and other important data sources to enable daily/weekly/monthly reporting, ad hoc drill-down analysis from summary to transaction details, and data mash-ups of structured and unstructured data from sources both inside and external to the enterprise.
Back in January, InsightSPI had announced the hiring of Reed Kingston in the role of chief financial officer and managing director, effective immediately.
Kingston joins InsightSPI from Motum LLC, the leading sales and marketing effectivess consultancy.
At InsightSPI, Kingston will be responsible for the financial management of the firm in his role as CFO, and will be a key contributor to the firm’s solution development and delivery capabilities as a functional expert in financial management and an experienced client service executive and global consulting firm leader.
