Webinar - RingCentral Helps World Vision Ring Up Savings
By Paula Bernier, Executive Editor, TMC
Workers are increasingly on the move. But, when you’re part of a global organization whose work is about outreach around the world, being able to keep in touch with colleagues and others from near and far, is more important than ever.
That succinctly describes that situation of World Vision USA, a global Christian humanitarian organization. And it’s why World Vision USA recently moved to a flexible, cloud-based unified communications solution provided by RingCentral.
RingCentral’s single, cloud-based unified communications solution replaced World Vision USA’s nine PBX (News - Alert) systems, which were at the end of their life.
“RingCentral’s platform provides us with the modern communications features that we need to support our central, dispersed and mobile workforce,” said Randy Boyd, infrastructure architect at World Vision USA.
Boyd will tell the organization’s story – including how the move to RingCentral (News - Alert) enabled World Vision USA to cut costs 30 to 40 percent while increasing services – during an April 18 webinar at 1pm ET/10 am PT. The webinar, entitled “Bank on It: The Real World Economic Benefits of Cloud Communications,” will also feature Jim Payne, senior product marketing manager at RingCentral.
World Vision USA has more than 1,000 employees, who travel frequently domestically and internationally with many working remotely. So they need to have the ability to communicate and collaborate easily, using a variety of endpoints – including their mobile devices. RingCentral allows for all of the above.
The platform supports conferencing, SMS, video, and voice interactions via single platform. It integrates with a range of other business solutions, including Microsoft (News - Alert) Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, and Outlook.
And RingCentral offers Professional Services. These services provide organizations like World Vision USA with assistance related to deployment, integration, monitoring services, network consulting, and technical design.
