Webinar - The Time is Now for SD-WAN
By Paula Bernier, Executive Editor, TMC
The next three years will see many enterprises and SMBs replace their branch office routers. If your organization falls into that group, this refresh cycle provides you with an opportunity. Rather than sticking with your legacy solution, you can now move to something better. And that something is SD-WAN.
You may have heard about SD-WAN. This technology provides a more efficient way for businesses to connect to public cloud services. It also simplies things by using policy to automate wide area networks. SD-WAN also can result in better performance, greater reliability, and lower costs. That’s because it leverages underlying infrastructure and can be programmed to use the best available connection – based on policy set by the business – at any given time.
In a webinar later this month SD-WAN solution provider TELoIP and The Tolly Group (News - Alert) will offer greater detail on the benefits of this new technology. They’ll discuss the benefits of TELoIP’s Virtual Intelligent Network Overlay architecture. And they’ll explain how The Tolly Group validated the quality of experience performance of the VINO SD-WAN network-as-a-service offering. Tolly rated TELoIP’s solution on failover/resilience, multi-link performance with and without compression, and WAN QoS.
Kevin Tolly, founder of The Tolly Group, and Kevin Suitor (News - Alert), chief marketing officer with TELoIP, will be the featured speakers at this event. It will take place Thursday, Sept. 19 at 11 a.m. Pacific/2 p.m. Eastern time.
They will help webinar attendees better understand how and why wide area networks need to evolve to address changing customer needs in the public cloud services era. They will explain how SD-WAN addresses these new requirements and is displacing traditional solutions like MPLS and routers in the process. And they will offer details on the TELoIP VINO architecture and how it empowers organizations to be more efficient and effective.
