Webinar - Choose the Correct Session Border Controller for Your Microsoft Lync Deployment

More and more companies are leveraging the power of unified communications in order to improve collaboration, efficiency and connectivity between workers and clients. One of the most popular unified communications solutions is Microsoft (News - Alert) Lync. Its tight integration with the Microsoft Office suite of products makes it the ideal choice for many companies. But when businesses are considering which session border controller to deploy in conjunction with Microsoft Lync, they may not be aware that, in this case, not all SBCs are created equal.

Sonus Networks (News - Alert), for example, has two session border controllers, the Sonus SBC 1000 and Sonus SBC 2000, that are Microsoft Lync 2013 qualified. Sonus is a Microsoft Gold Communications Partner, and can help enterprises optimize their Microsoft Lync voice deployments by providing SIP trunking services at the network border.

These SBCs provide the industry’s only end-to-end solution that delivers SIP-enabled applications from the enterprise headquarters to the branch office. Session border controllers also help customers unify disparate UC architectures across an enterprise and provide essential security for IP communications.

For companies that are interested in choosing the right session border controller for their Microsoft Lync deployment, Sonus will be sponsoring a webinar entitled, “Are All Session Border Controllers Created Equal? Not for Microsoft Lync.” The event, which will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. ET/8:00 a.m. PT, will feature David Tipping (News - Alert), vice president and general manager of Sonus SBC business.

The webinar, which is geared toward business and technical decision makers, will give attendees insight into how to save money on communications costs; the role of the SBC in peering with service providers and in Microsoft Lync deployments; and will help businesses choose the right SBC for their needs.
