Jabra Introduces Cloud-Based API-First Software Platform

Jabra announced the introduction of Jabra+ for Admins, a cloud-based API-first software platform for remote monitoring and management of meeting rooms and devices.

Jabra+ for Admins promises users a seamless experience, streamlining the often complex tasks of administration and troubleshooting associated with communication devices. With the platform, IT administrators gain visibility and control over settings, firmware, and insights – all from a unified software platform.

In addition to real-time status updates, which can be accessed from anywhere, administrators will have the flexibility to monitor and manage communication devices effortlessly.

One of the standout features of Jabra+ for Admins is its ability to offer a comprehensive visual overview of meeting rooms, locations, and devices, making device management more accessible.

With a modern UI and a new design, IT administrators can now optimize the in-room experience, remotely configure devices, and even update firmware.

Thanks to the platform's real-time online/offline status tracking of rooms and devices, it's also possible to have immediate issue identification and reduce the need for IT tickets.

To enhance security and scalability, Jabra+ for Admins leverages Microsoft Azure, providing a future-proof platform. The inclusion of Single Sign-On (SSO) further enhances security by reducing attack surfaces and streamlining user authentication, resulting in an improved user experience and alleviating IT burdens associated with password recovery.

Currently available through an Early Adopter Program, Jabra+ for Admins is set for wider release this summer.
