September 12, 2022

There’s no doubt meetings play an important role in most businesses. Between teammates, clients and customers, the ability to communicate is critical to success. As new technologies emerge and, in particular, following the 2020 pandemic shutdowns, meetings have become an even greater focus.

Being able to connect face-to-face in a seamless and frictionless way is crucial to a positive conferencing experience. INFOBIT, a provider of meeting room technology has just introduced the iShare X Wireless conferencing system, which it says includes everything users need to have productive, clear and efficient meetings from anywhere and using any device.

The new wireless conferencing system is focused on the BYOM (Bring Your Own Meeting) concept, which means users can gather in the meeting space of their choice and control the meeting and technology using their own devices. No more needing special access to connections to work the technology.

The system includes a USB camera, microphone, speakerphone and is Plug & Play. Featuring HDMI and USB-C transmitters, it works without any software. It is also compatible with other USB cameras and conferencing audio like speakerphones, video soundbars.

Presentations happen wirelessly via the transmitter and using apps for Windows, macOS, Android, or via AirPlay, Miracast, and Chromecast. With 4K quality and split screen capabilities, a simultaneous presentation for up to four participants is possible.

The best part is users can simply start a hybrid meeting from their laptop and then walk into a meeting space and connect automatically to the room devices.

For enhanced security, the WLAN is encrypted with AES WPA2PSK authentication. It also offers data transmission encryption with 256/1,024 bits and has two separated RJ45 ports for company staff and guest use.
