Truecaller for Business Strengthens Enterprise Features

Almost everyone does it — ignores phone calls and text messages from numbers they don’t recognize. Sure, carriers are providing some relief, but it doesn’t seem to be having a huge impact. So, consumers turn to apps to help mitigate the amount of spam calls and spam messages when the features provided by the service provider are not enough. Caller ID and spam blocking app Truecaller recognized and blocked 37.8 billion spam calls and 182 billion spam messages in 2021 alone.

Truecaller, trusted and used by over 320 million people to identify calls and SMS, continues to work on new capabilities and agile experiences on the platform. The idea is to further build seamless customer experience among its community of business customers.

Truecaller' enterprise offering, Truecaller for Business protects business brands and customers from getting impacted by impersonation and fraud. TfB also brings in contact center efficiency, reducing costs on the customer support front.

To strengthen the enterprise offering, TfB launched several enhanced features like video caller ID, call me back functionality, call ratings and surveys. Improvements were also made to the platform to be able to onboard new clients faster.

Video caller ID capability enables branded, contextual videos to differentiate business caller identity from the rest. The feature is live and experienced initial good response among consumer brands, automobiles, real estate, fintech and other sectors as part of their business calling communication lifecycle.

The live call me back feature enables enterprises to get call-back requests from customers that might miss an important call. The feature allows two-way communication between customers and businesses even when calls are unanswered, further enabling trusted and productive business communication. In addition, the capability will help companies to streamline their calling process and increase their ROI from the overall calling workflow.

The call ratings and surveys features are soon being launched as part of the expanded suite of business offerings that will allow businesses to derive real-world insights from end customers to evolve their communication experience.

Additionally, the company rolled out a refreshed verified business caller ID activation workflow. The feature improves business onboarding by activating their numbers faster and further shortens the go live cycle for businesses.
