Alcatel Lucent Enterprise Unveils High-End Desk Phone

Trading under the name of ALE Device, the Alcatel Lucent Enterprise subsidiary unveiled a high-end SIP desk phone under its Myriad series, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise M8. The new phone is designed help business people stay connected and productive anytime and anywhere.

The M8 desk phone, with various connectivity options, can synchronize with multimedia devices, meeting the needs of dynamic business connections.

Key features include a 5-inch in-plane switching display, new architecture for faster speed, built-in 2.5G/5G Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, USB A and C, wideband audio and 360-degree audio tuning, 12-way local conferencing, touch-sensitive keys with LED, smart wheel with LED lighting for navigation and volume control and a fabric design inspired by a household speaker.

Users will be able to utilize the M8 desk phone in dynamic working scenarios such as an open-plan office, meeting room or at home. The phone can be used as a conventional desk phone or can replace a suite of conferencing equipment to operate as a conference phone or speaker in a meeting room. It can even be used to listen to music during downtime.
