Bulgaria's Zadarma Offering MVNO in France

Mobile virtual network operators (MVNO) serve as resellers for wireless communications services. An MVNO leases wireless capacity, purchasing “minutes” from a third-party mobile network operator (MNO) at wholesale prices and then resells the services to consumers at reduced retail prices under its own business brand.

In France, there are four MNOs - Orange, Free Mobile, Bouygues Telecom and SFR – and MVNOs buy services from these four companies. France now has a new MVNO: Bulgaria-based Zadarma Cloud Telecommunications, a VoIP provider with operations in Bulgaria, Spain and Poland. The company is now offering its own French mobile numbers with access to phone calls and SMS (text messaging).

While there are many choices for MVNOs in France, Zadarma has noted it sets itself apart from competitors with a disruptive approach that does not limit customers use of services and comes at a competitive price with no connection fees.

"It is a significant achievement and a meaningful step aligned with our company mission to provide seamless and affordable communication to people and businesses,” said Zadarma’s Chief of Marketing Dmitry Tokar in a statement. “Virtual numbers are a powerful tool for both personal use and business growth and representation.”

Zadarma offers a range of voice communication services from virtual numbers in 100 countries, as well as cloud PBX services, free CRM system to integrations with helpdesk and CRM platforms, call tracking and speech recognition services. Zadarma has 15 years of experience in the VoIP industry and is entrusted by over two million users from 170 countries. The company offers a range of price plans and call packages for all usage levels. Additional value-added features include free international numbers, per-second billing, caller's telephone number transmission (CallerID), and its own apps for smartphones and computers.

Zadarma brings business to France at a time when many MVNOs are lobbying the government for limitations on the country’s mobile network operators, including stricter price regulation of the wholesale market.
