The business world is flooding with applications to make communications easier for employees and customers alike. However, this abundance of technological resources can often lead to a frustrating setup for workers, as many are forced to switch between applications to accomplish basic tasks. Thankfully, developers are recognizing this struggle among workers, and are creating new integrations to make work communications as simple as possible.

This week, business VoIP solutions provider Altaworx announced the release of a new Microsoft Teams Voice Integration, enabling users to make phone calls from their desktop or mobile device. Users are now able to make calls using their company phone line, and does not require the recipient to log into Teams to pick up the call. At the same time, the integration allows employees to become less dependent on their landline phone for calls, allowing them to remain productive virtually anywhere they have an internet connection.

With remote and hybrid work solidified as permanent fixtures in the modern business world, integrations for popular services like Microsoft Teams help boost productivity even further. In desktop work settings, employees can often lose focus after taking on important tasks, which then takes additional time to get back to their original tasks. Altaworx’s new Teams integration will not only allow users to make calls directly through their screen, it will also enable them to multitask while simultaneously engaging with cow-workers and customers.
