Mitel Partner Programs Put Cloud in Focus

Canadian telecommunications company Mitel has revealed two new Cloud-first partner programs, in an effort to address the recent spike in demand for cloud services.

The post-pandemic era is becoming a time of renewal for many businesses, with many attempting to start fresh with new digital infrastructure to remain functional and productive in hybrid environments. Cloud services were once thought to be convenient for business operations, but are proving to be somewhat mandatory for both employee and customer purposes.

“As businesses begin to come out of pandemic mode and turn their attention toward growth, demand for cloud communications has exploded and with it, created a huge opportunity for partners to support customers in new ways as they transition to the cloud or look to optimize the power of an existing cloud solution.” commented Lana King, Vice President of Partner Programmes, Training and Enablement at Mitel.

Mitel’s two new partner programs, Amplify and Velocity,  hope to address the new needs of agents and customers, by offering digital resources and benefits to make operations more streamlined. Velocity will focus specifically on customer cloud journeys, and Amplify will support agents through new programs and technical certifications.

King added, “We created Mitel’s Amplify and Velocity programs to close that gap and enable each partner to deliver cloud solutions in a way that best fits their business model.”
