Broadvoice Makes Holiday Commitment to Toys for Tots Charity

With the continued malign influence of the global COVID-19 pandemic, the holiday season is shaping up to be a bit of an afterthought, particularly for families suffering from job losses, illness, reduced hours and the uncertainty of continued unemployment insurance. To foster a bit of goodwill in their communities, some companies have pledged to give back and make the holidays a bit brighter, particularly for children.


Broadvoice, which provides hosted voice, unified communications (UC), and SIP trunking services for businesses, announced recently that it plans to participate in the Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots charity drive to give back to the growing number of people who find themselves in need during the holiday season as a result of the economic fallout of the pandemic.

The primary goal of Marine Toys for Tots is -- through the gift of a new toy -- help bring the joy of the holidays and send a message of hope to America's less fortunate children. The organization, which has existed since 1947, relies in part on corporate sponsors and donors like Broadvoice that contribute and help raise monetary contributions, toys and program awareness. Their support helps millions of less fortunate children share in the magic of the holidays.

Over the next few weeks, Broadvoice will support the program by donating toys and facilitating donations on behalf of the Broadvoice community. For every new deal sold through December, Broadvoice will donate an additional toy to the program on behalf of partners and customers.

"Broadvoice has participated in a Toy for Tots program for many years, but this year, we wanted to expand our contribution to support more families," said Marisa Freeden, VP of Brand and Experience for Broadvoice, in a statement. "We also want to make it easier for people to participate without going to a physical location due to challenges with COVID-19."
