Windstream Relaunches Virtual PBX for Hospitality

Catering to customer needs is the name of the game for any industry. In hospitality, where guest experiences can make or break an operation, it’s especially critical that enterprises have top-notch communications networks.

In a bid to help hotels deliver a better, more personalized experience for guests, Windstream Enterprise, has announced the re-launching of its Virtual PBX solution for Hospitality (HvPBX).


The company, which provides advanced network communications solutions, made the announcement at this week’s Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition Conference (HITEC).

“Enabling our customers with the tools to deliver a best-in-class guest experience has been at the forefront of our development efforts,” said Donald Jensen, Windstream Enterprise vice president of hospitality. ”It is critically important for hoteliers to elevate and transform the guest experience to deliver on the promise of consistent and excellent service that creates loyalties at the brand level.”

To do so, the company said it is now using a Mitel hospitality solution integrated into a hotels’ existing hospitality management applications and mobile devices.
 

The Windstream Enterprise XCaaS Mitel solution includes UCaaS, and omnichannel CCaaS capabilities and also comes complete with tools for differentiated guest experiences.
 

“The most successful hotels know customer ratings can make or break you. The right communications solution makes all the difference, increasing staff availability, boosting response time and allowing service customization,” said Martin Bitzinger, Mitel vice president of product line management.

Part of these enhanced digital innovations can include things like wireless door locks, IP video surveillance, digital signage and even use of WiFi networks for guests - all to make their experience a unique and pleasurable one.

“Windstream Enterprise’s hospitality solution powered by Mitel leverages the cloud to deliver seamless communications and collaboration capabilities that enhance hotel experiences and keep guests coming back for more, said Bitzinger.”
