Evolve IP Buys, Ramps Up Call Recording Capabilities

In a move to further bolster its call recording and cloud communications offerings for customers, Evolve IP as announced the acquisition of speech analytics and natural language technology firm The Austin, Texas-based company is a, “personal assistant for phone calls” and offers an application that turns recordings and audio transcriptions into a “screenplay” that can be edited, clicked on and shared.

The natural language processing tool is a great option for those needing transcripts and in industries where compliance and recordings are necessary - such as call centers, healthcare and legal markets. It also leverages Artificial Intelligence and analysis tools to provide feedback based on the conversation and makes it possible to click on words, fast forward to important pieces of data in the recording, and more.

As part of the acquisition by Evolve IP, this application will now be integrated into the company’s UCaaS and CCaaS Cloud Services for customers. For users, these tools mean having backup for everything that’s said on a call in both written and audio formats and without the need to rely on one’s memory for the accuracy.
